Photograph
The photograph that I chose is a student praying on grass in front of a tree. I find this picture to be very meaningful. The tree behind the student looks like a tree of life and there are several other people in the background laying down resting because it is an area of comfort where people can enjoy nature and take in the sun on a beautiful God given day. The student seems to be very focused on meditation or praying which means he has a lot of faith and believes in the good of our world. In our world today we don’t see many students who are faithful to God and love nature instead we deal with the negative constantly.
This image connects to religion but as well as politics and forgiveness. The student has strong faith which is seen by public prayer of course but politics can interfere with such things. It is nice that in this photo politics are not getting in the way of the student praying; such as discrimination from others for praying in public. I find forgiveness to relate because when a person is so in touch with their inner self and God they find it easier to understand the world and forgive sinners instead of wanting revenge.
I find the image to be a beautiful example of prayer and it would be nice if other people would open their eyes to the world and enjoy the beauty of it.
